LRAD Corporation Announces Order from
Nashville Metro for Law Enforcement
and Emergency Responders
SAN DIEGO, CA, September 6, 2012 – LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world's leading provider of long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), announced today it has received its largest order to date for domestic law enforcement and emergency responders. The $468,000 order from Nashville Metro, the governing body for Nashville and Davidson County (Tennessee), includes LRAD 100XTM, LRAD 300XTM, LRAD 500XTM, LRAD 1000XiTM and LRAD-RX® systems and support equipment.

LRAD systems transmit focused, multi-language voice commands and warning tones that can be clearly heard and understood inside buildings and vehicles and over background noise in any type of terrain and environment over distances from 200 yards to 2 miles. Every LRAD system comes with a hardened MP3 player to record and playback messages on the fly or to play pre-recorded warnings, instructions and messages in any language for any operational scenario.
LRAD systems are rugged, easy to operate and can be mounted, temporarily or permanently, on police and emergency responder vehicles.
